ALLAN KARELL concentrates his practice on agricultural and commercial real estate acquisitions and sales, business mergers and acquisitions, secured financing transactions, and foreclosures and workouts. He regularly works with attorneys around the state and the country on real estate financing and transactional matters. He also represents clients in business sales and purchases, commercial transactions, operation and governance of entities, and business law issues.
Allan is a fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and in the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. He is listed in the area of real estate law in Best Lawyers in America, in Mountain States Super Lawyers, and in Chambers USA America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. He is an associate member of the Montana Land Title Association.
Allan obtained his law degree with high honors from the University of Montana in 1976, and after clerking for U.S. District Judge William J. Jameson, has practiced law in Billings, Montana since 1977. He has lectured on various real estate issues, including foreclosure and title insurance.
